OC Designer Camp 101:  July 15 - 19 / 9am - 3pm


WHAT DOES AN AVERAGE DAY LOOK LIKE AT THE CAMP?

9:00am: Intros / Meet & Greet

9:30am - 10:00am: Orientation or Morning Design Exercise 

10:00am - 11:00am: Guest Speaker, Workshop or Tour

11:00am - 12:00pm: Guest Speaker, Workshop, or Tour

12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch 

1:00pm - 2:30pm: Project time with design mentor

2:30pm - 3:00pm: End of day recap & gratitude cards 


WHAT IS THE COST OF CAMP? ARE THERE DISCOUNTS?

Los Angeles Designer Camp, Fashion & Styling Camp & Interior Design Camp is $995 per camper.

Photography Camp is $1,200 per camper

Orange County Designer Camp is $795 per camper. 

Space is limited.

Discounts are offered to students who register for more than 1 week of camp. 


WHY SHOULD MY CHILD PARTICIPATE IN DESIGNER CAMP?   

Your student will be exposed to a variety of design related careers and skills that can enhance their confidence in expressing their creative abilities. He or she will have the opportunity to build their design network by meeting our team of industry professionals face-to-face and connecting with other teens who share common interests. Your student will walk away at the end of the camp with a great start to their design portfolio and network, along with a certificate of completion from the program.  


WHAT ARE THE AGES OF THE CAMPERS?

Our students range from ages 11 - 17 years old.


WHAT KIND OF DESIGN EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED? 

No experience is needed. We are looking for students who are passionate about design with a willingness to learn and engage throughout our workshops.


WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE COVER? 

Our registration price covers all workshops, field trips, guest speakers, lunch, snacks, project materials, design supplies, Designer Camp bags, sketchbook or portfolio, room rental, camp insurance & staff. Designer Camp is a specialty camp that can only accommodate a limited number of students in order to keep the experience personal, hands-on and unique. 


WHERE ARE THE DESIGNER CAMP STUDIOS?

Los Angeles

Designer Camp 101, Fashion & Styling Camp and Interior Camp will be held in our NEW studio located inside WeWork Pacific Design Center, 750 N San Vicente Blvd, ( PDC Red building) Suite 800, West Hollywood, CA 90069. 

Photography Camp will be taking place inside Leica Store & Gallery Los Angeles, 8783 Beverly Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90048.

Orange County

Orange County Designer Camp 101 will be held inside Chuck Jones Center for Creativity as a pop-up workshop space within South Coast Collection (SOCO) & The OC Mix, 3323 Hyland Avenue, Costa Mesa, 92626. 


DO YOU OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS?

Thanks to our wonderful sponsorship partners, we are excited to offer a limited amount of partial and full scholarships for this upcoming summer. We are looking for creative students who are passionate about design, work well with others, and are excited to learn! WHAT KIND OF SUPERVISION IS PROVIDED?

A full staff is provided with a ratio of 1 camp counselor to every 6 students. Security is also on-call provided through the Pacific Design Center & SOCO & The OC Mix. 


DO YOU OFFER EXTENDED HOURS?
